A little about us…
In 2006 Lauren Montgomery and Tera Sartini noticed that Louisville Kentucky was kinda lacking in fabulous wedding gowns.  They noticed that all the brides in Louisville were making that tiresome trek to Cincinnati to find that perfect wedding dress for their big day.  Then they thought “No more!!  We are going to help these lovely ladies out and bring amazing wedding gowns to them!” And so in January 2007 they opened the doors of The Couture Closet to brides from all over Kentucky that were looking for something elegant, sophisticated, and fabulous to wear on their wedding day.

The Couture Closet is not just selling you your dream wedding gown but also an experience and hopefully a memory that will be special to you for the rest of your life.
Buying your gown should be an exciting time and you should enjoy it! The Couture Closet only schedules one bride at a time so that we can give you our undivided attention in helping you select the perfect gown for you. You and your family and friends can relax in the comfortable atmosphere and enjoy yummy pastries and refreshments while you try on yummy gowns.

Why LaGrange?
Lauren and Tera decided LaGrange Kentucky would be the perfect place to open The Couture Closet. The historic town of LaGrange houses quaint shops and great eateries, it is a place you can spend a day relaxing with your family. Even though you are only 20 minutes from Louisville it feels like you took a weekend trip to find your special gown. After shopping for your wedding dress enjoy all the great treasures that LaGrange has to offer such as great boutiques, art galleries, delicious restaurants, and a train that runs right down the middle of the street! The Couture Closet is easy to find by taking Interstate 71 North to exit 22, if you are headed to Cincinnati to look for your bridal dress stop at The Couture Closet instead and enjoy a bridal shopping
experience unlike any other!
