Couture Closet is searching to add new Bridal Consultants to our team! Individuals need to be sweet souls who love LOVE and think that everyBODY is beautiful. These individuals must be warm, encouraging, and confident in helping people make decisions. They must treat the brides and their guests as if you were hosting them in your own home. The position requires you to be caring, supportive, non-judgmental, and can make our brides feel loved and celebrated.
Bridal Consultant Position
Bridal Consultants will work with brides directly, helping guide them through the dress shopping process. Listening to their wants and needs and being an advocate for them, all while helping them highlight their most loved features and keeping them within their budget. The consultant we are looking for will be able to handle the bride’s entourage in a friendly manner while keeping your bride’s best interest and style front and center. Must be able to make suggestions for brides based on their likes and dislikes, body shape, and budget. Must be sympathetic to the bride’s body concerns while still having a body-positive mindset.
When you become a CC Stylist you may also be asked to:
greet people as they come in for appointments
answer phone calls
help set up and break down appointments, Trunk Shows, and Sample Sales
maintain the store's appearance
help other consultants cleanout fitting rooms
create social media content (take some photos during your workday from time to time)
customer service tasks associated with making the store run smoothly
become knowledgeable of our designers and wedding gown inventory
Ideally, we are seeking someone with previous retail/sales experience, however, we are open to someone who would call themselves a “quick learner” and who loves working with people and creating a supportive atmosphere. We are looking to hire an individual who wants to be part of a growing business. This is NOT a seasonal hire, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of this family for the long term. We treat you to lunch every Saturday! Beginning pay is $17 (+$ if prior experience) with an opportunity for bonuses! Must be available at least 2 Saturdays a month (10am-5pm).
